Apercu general
Guanajuato is Mexico's colonial heartland, famous for its colorful cities, underground tunnels, and one of the most vibrant cultural scenes in the country. The capital, Guanajuato, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with cobblestone alleys, hidden plazas, and the University of Guanajuato that gives it a bohemian, youthful vibe. San Miguel de Allende, 1.5 hours away, has been repeatedly named the world's best city by Travel + Leisure. The state is the birthplace of Mexican Independence and hosts the International Cervantino Festival, Latin America's most important cultural event.
🌤️ Meilleur moment pour visiter
October is the best month: perfect weather (20-25°C/68-77°F) and the Cervantino Festival fills the city with music, theater, and dance. March-May is pleasant and dry. Easter Week in San Miguel is spectacular. Avoid June-September due to frequent rain.
