Apercu general
Jalisco is the quintessential cradle of Mexican culture: tequila, mariachi, charreria (rodeo), and birria were all born here. With its capital Guadalajara as Mexico's second-largest city, the state offers everything from vibrant urban life to the Pacific beaches of Puerto Vallarta. The town of Tequila, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is surrounded by blue agave fields and distilleries open for visits. Puerto Vallarta combines beach, culture, and gastronomy on the Bay of Banderas, one of the world's largest bays. The Malecon is perfect for sunset walks. Guadalajara surprises with its historic center, the San Juan de Dios market (Latin America's largest indoor market), the art scene in Tlaquepaque, and nightlife on Av. Chapultepec. Jalisco has something for every type of traveler.
🌤️ Meilleur moment pour visiter
October to May is the best season. Guadalajara's climate is spring-like year-round (20-32°C / 68-90°F), but the rainy season (June-September) brings strong afternoon storms. Puerto Vallarta is best from November to May with dry, warm weather. November is ideal for the Guadalajara International Film Festival.
