Guide étape par étape
The luxury bus is one of the best ways to travel from Mexico City to Guadalajara. The journey takes 6 to 7 hours along the Bajío highway, with stops in Querétaro and Irapuato. ETN and Primera Plus offer first class and luxury buses with spacious seats, WiFi, and power outlets. Tickets range from $700 to $1,100 MXN. With departures every 30-60 minutes throughout the day, you'll always find a convenient schedule.
Terminal Norte is Mexico City's largest bus terminal and the busiest in the country. It serves destinations north and west, including Guadalajara, Querétaro, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, and Monterrey. It's directly connected to the Metro via the Autobuses del Norte station (Line 5, yellow). From downtown, take Line 3 (olive green) to La Raza and transfer to Line 5 toward Politécnico; get off at Autobuses del Norte. An Uber from Condesa or Roma costs $100-200 MXN (30-50 min). The terminal is massive with multiple modules; ETN and Primera Plus are in the north module (to the right when entering through the main entrance). There are many restaurants, shops, and ATMs inside the terminal.
